Answer
The sum of the digits is 3 + 9 + 4 + 8 = 24.
24 is divisible by 3, so 3948 is also divisible by 3.
3948 is even and divisible by 3, so 3948 is also divisible by 6.
24 is not divisible by 9, so 3948 is also not divisible by 9.
