With an increasing interest in China from the international community, and especially in response to the Belt and Road Initiative, FLTRP has been exploring international opportunities more actively by commissioning a variety of high-quality titles on Chinese language and Chinese culture for learners and readers in other parts of the world. Till now, over 1000 titles with FLTRP’s copyright have been translated and published in more than 40 languages all over the world.
2006
In 2006, the launching of Everyday Chinese , a co- publishing CLT project between FLTRP and Cengage, marked the start of FLTRP's "going global" initiative.
2009-2012
In 2009 and 2012, FLTRP's works Breaking Through and Economic Reform and Development in China were licensed to Oxford University Press and Cambridge University Press respectively.
2012
In 2012, FLTRP and Springer jointly launched the "China Academic Library" project, which has yielded 44 titles.
2014
In 2014, FLTRP and Macmillan jointly launched their co- publishing project, the full series of Discover China in Frankfurt Book Fair.
2020
The series of "Key Concepts in Chinese Thought and Culture" has been translated into 30 languages, thanks to FLTRP's cooperation with prestigious publishers all over the world.
