Class suspended but teaching and learning continues. FLTRP Multilingual Publishing Department, together with Beijing Foreign Studies University, Peking University and Nanjing University, established Online Multilingual Teaching Room to support online teaching and learning for higher education teachers and students.

The online teaching room will act as a lesson preparation and teaching experience exchanging platform for foreign language teachers in colleges and universities across the country. The organizers will invite one experienced teacher in each session to conduct online teaching research and communication in the form of "expert lecture + free discussion" through voice broadcast. Each session lasts for one hour with 40 minutes of expert lecture and 20 minutes of free discussion. Four sessions have been held successfully so far, with more than 3,000 college foreign language teachers attended.
