This textbook is written based on a series of stories about the study and life of 

two foreign law enforcement officers in China and their friendship with Chinese friends. 

The textbook contains 16 lessons and an introductory course. Pronunciation, numbers, 

and the basic strokes are taught in the introductory course. The other courses include 

a warm up, two main text sections and comprehensive exercises. Among them, the 

main text sections include new words, language points, key sentences, dialogues/texts 

and exercises.
