Mr. Li Pengyi, Vice President of the Publishers Association of China and President Emeritus of FLTRP, attended the 4th International Asian Congress as a guest speaker held in Torun, Poland on 18th May. The Polish version of three FLTRP titles including Business Management: the Chinese Way was also launched during the Asian Congress.

The Asian Congress is jointly organized by the Polish Association of Asia-Pacific Studies in and Nicolaus Copernicus University, etc. This year, China is the guest-of-honor country of the Congress and the theme of the Congress is "How the Silk Road Has Changed the World". Mr. Li Pengyi, as a guest speaker, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the Congress. Mr. Li introduced the current situation of the publishing business in China, and emphasized the importance of China-Poland cooperation in publishing and cultural exchanges in a wider scope. “Appreciate the culture of others as do to one's own, and the world will become a harmonious whole.” Mr. Li quoted the famous saying to summarize the direction and vision of the publishing cooperation between China and Poland in the background of Belt and Road Initiative.

During the Congress, the Time Marszalek Group held a book launch of the Polish version of three titles which were originally published by FLTRP in China, including Business Management: the Chinese Way, The Magic of the White Snake and Strings of Life. Besides, FLTRP and the Time Marszalek Group signed another agreement for the publication of about 50 titles in the next five years. It is hoped that these books will be able to tell more Chinese stories to the Polish readers.
